What is Atacand used for?
Atacand is used to treat high blood
pressure. It may be used alone or with other drugs that treat high blood pressure.
Special
Warnings with Atacand:
Do not take Atacand when you are pregnant. If you find out you are pregnant
while taking Atacand you should call your health care provider and stop taking Atacand as
soon as possible. During the second and third trimester of pregnancy there have been
reports of harm and even death to the fetus.
